Polly Hardwicke is an English artist raised in London and currently studying a BA in Photography at the University of West England in Bristol.
Her practice primarily draws on traditional studio techniques, incorporating portraiture and still life while also drawing parallels between local landscapes and the body.
Her work explores the narrative power of photography in exploring identity, memory and the body. Her most recent project draws on her own experiences living with a chronic disease, whilst working collaboratively to encourage reflection on how community can encourage personal and collective agency in under-represented groups.
